Title: F1 Grand Prix of Miami
Post by: Fau Teixeira on May 06, 2022, 09:40:31 am
This is happening this weekend. Practice 1 and 2 are today. The track is a newly paved track around Hard Rock stadium. ESPN should have all the coverage.

Tickets started at around $300 for the crap areas and up to $9000 for the paddock pass (going for over 15k now in aftermarket sales)

This is a literal travelling circus that makes nascar look like a cheap side show.

Joe Rose said event is expected to have a much larger impact on South Florida than the Super Bowl in terms of people, celebrities, and money. That's pretty impressive if it is and they can do these every year.

The track itself is pretty impressive complete with fake Marina and Yacht City.

Apparently not all had a good time at the event.
