Title: Snow? Post by: dolphins4life on January 11, 2023, 03:28:35 pm Let's do a state check.
We've gotten literally less than one inch here in Massachusetts. It's horrible. Title: Re: Snow? Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on January 11, 2023, 04:10:59 pm I am willing we got more snow than most of the folks on this board.

Makes me really anxious about what this summer is going to bring Title: Re: Snow? Post by: Sunstroke on January 11, 2023, 06:04:29 pm We've had a couple of good snowfalls here in the past month...both between 6-8". Title: Re: Snow? Post by: stinkfish on January 11, 2023, 06:27:18 pm The less snow the better. Nothing makes me happier in the winter than sad skiers.
Title: Re: Snow? Post by: Pappy13 on January 11, 2023, 06:55:17 pm Nothing in Texas so far this year. Typically we don't, but from time to time it does happen.

Get out of here with this crazy talk. Obviously you don't have to worry about shoveling, or dealing with the damage that snow can cause. Title: Re: Snow? We need snow for our environment, our agriculture, and our water supply. Then again, common sense is something everybody on this board seems to lack. Title: Re: Snow? Post by: stinkfish on January 11, 2023, 07:43:11 pm Not everybody likes snow. Snow can cause quite a few problems for many of us. I’ll gladly take a dry or rainy winter over some monster Nor’easter that can dump a few feet on us.
Title: Re: Snow? Post by: stinkfish on January 11, 2023, 07:46:15 pm Remember that winter a few years ago where we had a blizzard here every other week almost? That wasn’t fun. Walking around town with snow banks taller than me made me feel like I was on planet Hoth.

In this case, the health of the planet. Title: Re: Snow? Walking around town with snow banks taller than me made me feel like I was on planet Hoth. We had a mild winter in 2019-2020. Then Covid caused a lockdown. We had snow in April of 2020 and October of 2020 and a very snowy winter. Oh, the good old days. Title: Re: Snow? Post by: stinkfish on January 11, 2023, 08:06:51 pm Snow sucks. Fuck snow. Hate it.

Title: Re: Snow? Post by: Phishfan on January 11, 2023, 09:35:00 pm I miss snow. Nothing was cooler than having snow hit after you reported to school and getting out. No makeup day and you were already around all your friends.
Title: Re: Snow? Post by: stinkfish on January 11, 2023, 11:09:04 pm Yeah, snow days were were great. But even then, as a little kid, I was like nope. I’m staying in. I was never one to play in the snow too much. Even being in college during a winter storm it was exhilarating to watch the news for cancellations, and when my school came across it was still that same feeling from grammar school when school got cancelled.
