Title: Belichick
Post by: dolphins4life on September 18, 2023, 01:00:14 am
Likely going to have 3 out of four non-playoff seasons without Brady.

But if he's so bad as a coach, how do you explain the Patriots winning so many playoff games in which Brady played poorly?

I don't explain it because he's not so bad as a coach and anyone who has that opinion is a dope.

Bellichek is one of the best coaches in NFL history.

Losing Brady is not something you just bounce back from.  Not only is he a generational talent, but he worked well with Bill specifically, he took less money consistently so his team didn't crumble around him.  You can't just expect to be a perpetual dynasty.

+1 on this. He's lost some good coordinators. Basically during the Brady years everything just fell into place perfectly for the Pats. It happened in '72 for the Dolphins. There was no world football league to take several of their best players. Maybe if the NFL was paying the players what they are getting paid now, Zonk would have never left? But then again with it being a defensive and run oriented league it wouldn't have lasted as long as the Pats dynasty lasted anyway. Perfect storm for them.

Bless Tua for doing his part in making sure that the worst crook since Nixon won’t get Sheila’s record against Miami.
