It's in Miami's best interest if the Patriots win.

To quote Spider-Dan..."Every Steelers loss is relevant to Miami until it is no longer possible for the Dolphins finish with more losses than Pittsburgh."

For the Patriots to win, it would require an even bigger miracle than what happened almost five years ago.

I'm not counting any chickens.  20 years of misery will do that to a person.

The Steelers are actually a dogshit team, I have no idea how they managed to win 7 games but they just lost back to back games against 2 win teams so they're very likely out of the playoff picture.

I don't agree with this.

The path to the Super Bowl is from Miami winning their division.  Thus, it doesn't matter to us what Pittsburgh does, short of winning their division while also having a better record than us.  This can't happen for a few reason.  We have a lead on them.  Baltimore also has a lead on them.  Pittsburgh is bad.

I'd much rather Pittsburgh be in a large group of teams ahead of the Buffalo Bills.  The Bills scare me more than some other teams with better records, Pittsburgh among them.  I'd much, MUCH rather play Pittsburgh than Buffalo in the playoffs.

If we regress to the point that Pittsburgh overtakes us in the standings, we have problems, so I'm actually not concerned about it.  I, instead, want the Bills eliminated from playoff contention as soon as possible.

You know what? If we are good enough, none of this really matters.

It we win out from here, this whole thing is a mute point.

I think that it does matter, still.  The Bills are a team that has shown they can beat us and I'd like them out of the playoffs, if possible.
