Title: Miami Can't Beat Good Teams
Post by: masterfins on January 07, 2024, 11:48:57 pm
I hate to say it but it's true.  Buffalo could have easily put another 20 points on the board if not for their own mistakes.  Tua choked.  Hill dropped passes. Special teams blew punt coverage.

Our offense shrinks against good teams. Tua seems to have a cap but Tyreek and others don't play very well either. We aren't tough enough to compete against good physical teams and without threat of a passing game our running game is non existent.

10-0 against teams with a losing record
1-6 against teams with a winning record

What confuses me is that they got it done against Dallas (granted Dallas isn't as good as Baltimore or Buffalo).  And with the exception of Tennessee they took care of business against lesser teams, beating them easily, even with injuries. It makes it very frustrating.
