Title: Reporter asks Todd Bowles about playing in the 13 degrees of Detroit
Post by: CF DolFan on January 17, 2024, 05:41:15 pm
One of the oddest questions I've seen in a legit press conference. Thank goodness she asked Bowles who is a legit nice guy which can be seen in his response.

One reporter decided to quiz Tampa Bay's Todd Bowles about the prospect of playing in 13 degrees in Detroit on Sunday, a far cry from the 60-degree heat of Tampa.

"You do know we play indoors right? They got a dome," Bowles told the reporter.

This reminds me of clip from a few years ago when they were discussing how high winds in Detroit might effect the kicking game.

Wow, that's an absolute doozy!

I remember back to Superbowl XVI at the Pontiac Silverdome where the weather was an issue outside of the dome - the media in particular bitched about the traffic jams and the snow, enough that for a long, long time the NFL didn't consider in the slightest going back to a cold weather city for the Championship game, dome or not.

But she really did mention about playing the game in the cold, without a clue that it was indoors! Unbelievable stuff.

Bowles must have wondered if she was taking the piss?
