Unlike other examples of weeping statues, this looks clearly divine to me. The statue head literally weeps when the girl kisses it. If you read the article and watch the video, would you be convinced of divine intervention? What other explanation could you give? Tears form April 12: They bring it to the church. She kisses it there, and the statue weeps. There is a physical explanation for these sometimes. Condensation can form in the less dense parts of statue, the eyes, and drip out., but this doesn't explain the extent to which it was happening in this case, or why it suddenly stopped. Is there anything that COULD convince you to become religious? Fraud/Grift. Misreporting of an event that happened over 70 years ago by someone with an agenda. Natural phenomenon, like there's moisture in the statue and it seeps out of a crack in the statue when she tilts it to kiss it. I'm religious now. Not even a good magician's trick really.
