Maybe defames is a little strong……But they got last years seeding wrong. Those things aren't cheap.

In the 2005-06 playoffs, PIT beat the #3, #1, and #2 seeds in the AFC - all on the road - and then beat the #1 NFC seed in the SB. Even with the corrected seeding for MIA, KC beat the #6 seed at home in the Wild Card round, which is not "tougher" than beating the #3 seed on the road.

Arguably the toughest playoff run was the 2007 Giants who played 4 teams with a combined W-L of 54-13. They actually defame themselves because it makes them look like they beat a more inferior opponent.

That's not as good as PIT's 1/1/2/3 run, but it's still better than KC's 1/1/2/6 run last year. |
