Title: Dolphins Bad Season Being Overlooked by Media
Post by: masterfins on November 14, 2024, 08:44:08 pm
There are so many bad teams and stories in the NFL this year the media has almost completely ignored the Dolphins, I guess that's a good thing.

1) Carolina is terrible again this year, and Bryce Young QB drama.
2) Bears QB issues with Caleb.  I thought Chicago started the season well, but now the media and fans are after them.
3) Giants are a dumpster fire, they let the fan favorite player, Saquon Barkley, go to their rival the Eagles; and Daniel Jones sucks as a QB.
4) The Pats suck, but that's no surprise so it's being mostly ignored.
5) The Cowboys gave that huge contract to Dak and can't win a game.
6) The Browns suck with Deshaun Watson.
7) The Jags can't improve; even with Trevor Lawrence whom I am beginning to believe is overrated.
8 ) and finally the one that brings me the most joy is the failure of the JETS.  Why the media and their fans thought they would be strong playoff contenders is beyond me.  Yes, on paper they should have improved because of the draft and Rodgers, but a team viewed on "paper" rarely lives up to the hype.

I guess the media has given the Dolphins a small pass because of Tua's injury.

The team that has surprised me the most this year is the Bills.  They lost a lot of players in the off season, especially on defense, and I thought they would take a step back, but they are still playiing at a high level.  That says something about their team culture and their coaching.

Jets dumpster fire makes me happy. I hope A-Rod retires in disgrace, but he’ll probably get a cabinet post in the incoming administration at some point
