Of course, much of this has been IN SPITE of him, not because of him. If a miracle happens on Sunday, he will be the first Miami coach since Shula to make the playoffs each of his first three seasons with the Dolphins. JJ missed the playoffs his first season with Miami and was eliminated before the last week of his first season. Wannestedt made the playoffs his first two seasons, then was eliminated on the last day of the regular season in 2002. |
