Title: Saquon Barkley strikes it rich
Post by: Sibster on March 04, 2025, 05:12:35 pm
According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles and Barkley have agreed to terms on a two year $41.2 million deal making him the highest paid RB in NFL history.

They aren't going to make the same mistake as the Giants. They may be making a different one. Time will tell.

Maybe that's why it's only a two year deal.   He's on the wrong side of 30

He's 28, which is not the "wrong side of 30."

I could've sworn some article had him at 31.   My bad.

Good for Saquon and good for Running Backs. The position still matters and a RB who can take over a game will always be a key to success.
