I am somehow always preparing for a hypothetical extended internet outage (days? weeks?) where I have no internet access, because with internet access lack of entertainment is a complete non-issue: there are plenty of (no additional cost) games I can play online with others, or watch videos, or browse the internet, etc. It's super easy for me to sit at home and avoid spending money. So, I have an aquarium, for example. It takes a whole day to fully rescape it. I have a small garden -- it is a day of work to process the compost and clean up the garden. I play Fortnite on XBOX, which is free. I have access to a ton of old movies on free services. I also have some nature-adjacent hobbies, like collecting ecospeheres and geocaching. That process takes you to some cool places. I have costumes that I'm building in the garage. Most of these took money to set up, but once they're up and running, the ongoing upkeep isn't costly, unless you choose it to be. Title: Re: How do you entertain yourself when you're broke?
