Dogs are valuable contributors to society. Police dogs (the ones that take down hardened criminals that you or I would run away from), narcotics-sniffing dogs, seeing-eye dogs, fire dogs, rescue dogs, hunting dogs, etc. What's the biggest contribution that a cat makes... kill a mouse and leave it on your kitchen floor? Cats are leeches on society. Dogs are man's best friend for a reason. I was feeling a little guilty about posting the pic and depressing everyone, but Dave's comments are sure to make me look like a Saint. It wasn't my intention to bum everyone out, I just found this to be the most spellbinding picture I have seen in a long while. It's like like a car wreck.....I just can't turn away. Also, I'm not a big fan of cats......but I would be if they all had 1 eye (and didn't piss on the sofa). And I'm sure the first thing a person thinks of when aquiring one of these "toy" dog's is, "I need it for security reasons". This may very well be a nice addition to having a dog, Â but certainly not one of THE reasons in getting one. Â Which also brings me back to my original point: Dogs are man's best slaves.
