Title: Movie Review - Chicago Post by: Dave Gray on January 12, 2006, 10:57:53 am Premise: A woman is sent to prison for the murder of her lover, but hires legendary defense attorney Billy Flynn to get her off. Billy plays the media to turn her into a star, and her fame takes importance over her case.
Rating: Very good. As I'm sure you all know, this is a broadway show. The movie does a fantastic job or intertwining the regular movie scenes with the on-stage dance numbers. The story is told through the fantasies of the main character, and hops in and out of these acts. While it is a musical, and that isn't particularly my thing, it does a great job of fusing it all together.
