anybody know anything about him. Dolphins Sign Teyo Johnson January 12, 2006 The Miami Dolphins signed tight end Teyo Johnson. The 24-year-old Johnson is a veteran of three NFL seasons, who spent six games with the Arizona Cardinals in 2005 before being waived on November 22. Johnson originally was a second-round draft choice of Oakland in 2003, where he spent his first two seasons after a stellar two-sport career at Stanford. As a rookie, Johnson played in all 16 games regular season games for the Raiders, starting five of them as he caught 14 balls for 128 yards and a touchdown. He saw action in the final eight games of 2004, starting one, after being inactive for the first eight. The 6-6, 245-pound Johnson had nine receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns. He went to training camp with the Raiders last season, but was waived on September 4, 2005 before Arizona signed him on September 14. Johnson played wide receiver at Stanford, where he was also a starter on the basketball team. Born November 29, 1981, Johnson attended Mira Mesa High School in San Diego. I know he was with the Cardinals for awhile and I watched him play some this season but nothing he did really wowed me or sticks out in my mind!!!!!

Title: Re: Teyo Johnson Post by: jtex316 on January 12, 2006, 02:14:15 pm The Dolphins really need a blocking TE. McMichael sucks at that, and then barely catches passes at times!

Teyo Johnson is a 3-year vet drafted by the Raiders. He was highly touted as a "sleeper" in many fantasy drafts his rookie season and never fulfilled his expectations. I believe he unseated Doug Jolley his rookie season as their starting TE. Since then, he's bounced around. He's got decent blocking skills, but I don't think he's all that fast. He's gotta have better hands than Randy, though. I think my cat has better hands than Randy... You don't seem perverse... yet I can't picture you as a mad scientist either.

I don't agree - he's ten times better than Lorenzo Diamond in the rough. Look for Teyo to take the #2 TE spot, move Lorenzo to #3 and Alex Holmes will get cut (again).
