It looks like the Donkos are gonna be $29 million over the cap this offseason. Looks like this team's going into the crapper for next season.

Title: Re: Denverdamus - a prediction Post by: Denver_Bronco on January 24, 2006, 10:33:43 am Denver...I told you and I told you and I told you that sooner or later Jake Plummer would break your heart. Was I right or was I right? Right in a certain aspect. The defense was more to blame then Plummer was. i also didn't like the fact that when we went down 10-0 Shanny basically wimped out and played for 3 at the point we got inside the 10. We needed 7 there. i give credit to Pitt. Their play calling was tremendous.Title: Re: Denverdamus - a prediction Post by: Denver_Bronco on January 24, 2006, 10:36:35 am If we still had Griese we win that game by 10.. ::)

Title: Re: Denverdamus - a prediction Post by: Denver_Bronco on January 24, 2006, 11:23:30 am Griese was much better than anyone gives him credit for. I agree. I liked Griese. He got a bad knock in Denver cause he followed Elway and everyone was spoiled and expected perfection. Looks like this team's going into the crapper for next season. I think it will be a rough juggling act, but this is Denver we're talking about. They'll find a way to put a solid team on the field next year, no matter what cap situation they're looking at. They have a good enough front office and coaching staff to pull it off. |
