The major money guys are easy cuts. Jake/Rod/Champ are sure to restructure their deals. The money is going to come from Nalen being released (6 mill- sorry folks its just economics), Warren's deal voiding out (6 mill), Trevor getting on the first bus out of town (9 mill). Do 85 receps. for 1105 yds. sound like retirement numbers ? Title: Re: denvers season Post by: Jim Gray on January 25, 2006, 01:27:15 pm I think it's unfair to say Denver "got lucky". They won too many games for it to be lucky, and they beat some good teams along the way. Denver met a team that was designed to stop the running game and force the QB to beat you. Denver's achilles heel has always been Jake and he finally showed why.
