Typically,I here about all the hub-bub leeading up to the olympics.This time,They are practically upon us,and there isn't alot of buzz about it.I've been told,Watch NBC,they're pimping the hell out of them. I also have to admit,most of the time,after about the 3rd day,I'm done,I just want them to end. Are you going to watch the olympics? It's hard to have a "buzz" about the Winter Olympics (first of all it's not even the Summer Olympics) when you have: 1. Kobe dropping 81 2. The Super Bowl 3. I could care less about any of the "buzz" jtex mentioned other than the Super Bowl.
I like the hockey coverage, speed skating, ski jumping, and the downhill racing. Then again I use to work at a ski resort, so it keeps my interest. As a side question, is it just the Winter games you guys don't like or do you not care for the Summer games either? They are only showing the totals, so no Russian judges controversies this year. I'll admit they did pretty good in the '02 games, but that was the exception, not the rule. I recall the '88 and '92 games where they didn't even win more than 10 medals TOTAL. Generally, cold weather countries like Germany, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Norway, Sweden, and Finland tend to do well in these games.
