What is your guilty pleasure? -- the thing that's kind of lame/gay/stupid (and you know it), but you just don't care.

Guilty pleasure?

My name is Sunstroke, and I am an Operaholic. I love the opera...whether it is cranking a CD of it at home or sitting in the theatre, watching one performed live. I have loved opera (and most classical music) since the first time I heard it as a young kid and get sooo into it that I cannot listen to it while driving...I tend to close my eyes during the imbroglio, or in the absence of an imbroglio (not required, obviously), any coloratura at a really quick tempo will make me do the same thing.

...and no, I am NOT gay!  >:(

For a minute I thought that said "Oprah"

I have so many...
1.) Free internet porn
2.) Marine Aquariums
3.) Woodworking
4.) 80's hairband music
5.) old stuff,I like alot of different old things furniture,vehicles,technology,tools...
6.) Human Nature...I love to study human nature.
7.) Ebay
8.) Local Folklore
9.) Paranormal stuff

That's about it off the top of my head....

I like birding......so sue me.  I have 12 feeders and 10 bird boxes.  2 of the boxes have video cameras in them (owl and wood duck).  I get 3 birding magazines and read books about birds.  Right now I'm reading a book about how birds get theirs songs.  Okay......now make fun of me. 

I also like the TV show - COPS.  It's the only reality show I watch. 

I like interior decorating. Seriously, I do. Before anyone accuses me of being gay or a homo, or realizes that I spell my name Franc instead of Frank, think about what I do for a living. I am a sales rep for the largest hard surface flooring manufacturer in the world. Flooring is all about color and style and patterns and design. I happen to have a good eye for color as well. Matching paints and furniture and area rugs and stuff. All of my friends joke that I should start my own business Interior Design by Franc, but that I should pronounce it "Fronc" not "Frank".

I love it when the perps run.  You know they are going to get caught and as soon as the cameras are off......it's ass whuppin time.

I'm a trekkie.

Until I started working on my new house every weekend, I belonged to ARMA (American Renassaince Martial Arts) and spent my Sunday mornings sword fighting with 8 other dudes.

It was awesome and I love it.

I have a few.

1.  I LOVE celebrity gossip.  I don't know why. I think I like to see the mighty fall. I read all of the website and stuff.
2.  For some reason every Saturday morning, I watch "That's So Raven" .  I think the show is funny.
3.  Night running. It's not safe.  I shouldn't do it. But there's something about running in the middle of  the night.  (I can't really get away with it here lately since they haven't fixed the lights, yet.)
4.  I like karate flicks. The old cheesy ones where the voices don't synch up with the mouths.
5.  Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Best. Show. Ever.

"Weird" AL Yankovic.  Yup,  I said it,  what,  you wanna fight about it?   ;D

Desperate Housewives ... The show of course.  ;)

1) Listenting to house music - Any time, any where; Favorite time is probably hearing some chill deep house on a Sunday morning, sitting on my patio outside, enjoying nature, and reading the sunday paper;
2) I love good food, good wine, and good beer. My overall happiness often depends on whether my belly is happy. 
3) The Shield - Best cop drama on tv. Although there are several tv shows that I like and try to watch regularly, this is the only one I never miss.

c'mon people...half of you are missing the mark on this post....househead, lil B, this isn't a "hobby" thread....theres nothing "lame/gay/stupid" about those thigns as dave put it....

Now me, on the other hand, I'm a nerd, so I like to work out physics problems for fun...  I'm currently working on Lil-B's mythbuster...

Yeah....Tony is right.  "Guilty" pleasure.  Although I'd be ashamed of myself if I listened to house music (that weren't part of a video game soundtrack.)

Why don't you add on there, Househead, that you read nerdy fantasy books?

Anyways, another one of mine is music -- not really what I listen to, but as far as playing stuff on piano, I will try anything.  Country, opera, bubble gum pop....sometimes it sucks, but ocassionaly, I can play previously corny songs my own way and make them more to my liking.

Mine is collecting toys. But you can't open them, they won't be mint condition.

Besides the usual Simpsons and Family guy, etc... I also enjoy watching fairly oddparents, spongebob, kim possible and other 'kid' cartoons.

Guilty pleasures, huh?  I have a few.

1- Smallville (Supe's my favorite superhero)

2- Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I bought the entire 7 season set for my wife, who got me hooked on the show)

3- Science Fiction (Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica)

4 - I watch cartoons at any occasion.  I'm 31 and they still crack me up.  Especially all the old Tex Avery stuff that by today's standards is too "un P-C"
