http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2378990 Quote: CHICAGO -- Brian Griese agreed to a five-year deal with the Chicago Bears on Tuesday, adding depth behind Rex Grossman at quarterback. The 31-year-old Griese completed 112 of 174 passes for 1,136 yards and led Tampa Bay to a 5-1 start last year before a season-ending knee. The Buccaneers decided to waive him this month rather than pay a $2.6 million roster bonus. __________________ Title: Re: Brian Griese - Return of the legend Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on March 22, 2006, 07:37:54 pm OK, so where does that leave Kyle Orton???

Am I the only one who reads this as saying that he took a knee in the 7th game that ended TB's season? Like how Trent Green took a season-ending knee at the end of the KC-CIN game in WK 17.Title: Re: Brian Griese - Return of the legend Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on March 23, 2006, 02:41:20 am Am I the only one who reads this as saying that he took a knee in the 7th game that ended TB's season? Like how Trent Green took a season-ending knee at the end of the KC-CIN game in WK 17. LOL, good looking out, Spider. What the writer meant to say was that he sustained a season-ending knee injury in the 6th game against the Dolphins. Dave, Brian, Fausto, CF, Phinatic, and myself were all at that game in Tampa. Our defense made Chris Simms look like a Pro Bowler that day. |
