Title: What about Brock Berlin? Post by: jtex316 on March 25, 2006, 11:19:05 pm Is Brock Berlin (QB - Dolphins / NFL Europe) good enough to warrant even a 3rd string role as a Miami Dolphin?

This dude can't even hack it in NFL Europe!!! He's just gonna play out the string, go thru the first few weeks of training camp and maybe one or two preseason games, then get cut loose. This backup QB situation worries me. I hope we get a #2 soon. Title: Re: What about Brock Berlin? I wouldn't worry..... talks are heating up with Tommy Maddox Title: Re: What about Brock Berlin? Post by: run_to_win on March 26, 2006, 10:29:48 pm Is Brock Berlin even as good as Torretta.
Title: Re: What about Brock Berlin? Post by: doctord56 on March 26, 2006, 11:05:05 pm Brock was the best high school QB in America back in the day, but got beat out at Gainesville by Rex Grossman and then had an erratic career at UM. He just didn't develop as once hoped. He's marginally capable on a good day of being a 3rd string QB, but really isn't an NFL talent. He'll be cut after the 3rd exhibition game.

That's why I continuously laugh at all of these recruiting class reports every year. Title: Re: What about Brock Berlin? Agreed....it's hard to look at a 17 year old kid and predict how he'll do against top level competition, and whether he will grow up and mature into a star vs. regress back to the mean. And Brock's star has dimmed and gone out, and soon he'll be selling insurance or assistant coaching at your local junior college. Title: Re: What about Brock Berlin?
