Do they sell Argonauts jerseys?

Maybe in Toronto.

This would be good for him.  He can stay in shape, stay clean, make some $$$ to pay off his judgment, and be ready to roll when he comes back in 2007.

Yes they do, you can buy them online. And I think Tommy means IF he comes back in 2007. Remember that the NFL just denied Onterrio Smith re-instatement, and he didn't fail FOUR, yes FOUR, not one, or two, or even three, but FOUR drug tests.

NFL won't allow it.  According to the Herald he isn't allowed to play any other professional leagues...

Furthermore, Williams is not allowed to play in any other professional football leagues, the Dolphins confirmed.

Not entirely true. Here's a little clip from that ESPN article:

Dolphins officials contended Thursday that Williams' contract is NFL-exclusive and that he cannot play in another professional sports league. But if Williams wants to sign with the Argonauts, he and his representatives could cite precedents under which NFL players moved to the CFL while still under contract and under suspension.

There have been past precedents. Ricky's lawyers would have a field day in court with this one.

But then he would just violate whatever the CFL rules are concerning drug abuse, like the piece of crap that he will always be.

I live in TO now, and I just have to say I am REALLY excited about this.  Ricky should feel right at home here.  Do you realize how many marijuana grow ops are in the Greater Toronto Area alone?

off topic question but i was hearing that there is a buzz about the jays in toronto so what have you noticed up there.

You should be a blue jays fan. Do you want me to tell you the pros and cons of being a jays fan.

Raptor, I got no beef with you, but please save the baseball talk for another forum.  The Dolphins Discussion forum is one where you have to stay on topic or risk getting the thread locked.

Back to Ricky, heard he was invited over for pizza the other night at Saban's house.  They talked about moving forward through this.  I seriously think that if Ricky is capable, Saban will let him come back in 2007.
