Here's a review of this guy, for those of us who don't watch a lot of pac 10.  Nick Saban is obviously looking for hard working, hungry athletes, and I love Saban more and more every time I hear about him.  This Hagan guys got the stats too, checkit!Hes' the all time leader in Pac 10 career receptions according to the Sun Devils site.

Possibly brought in to further push Chris Chambers and challenge him for the #1 spot?

Well Frimp, it may have the effect of pushing Chambers, Hagan does have 4.42 speed, and expected to go somewhere under 4.0.    Everyone seems to think that he's more of a guy who over achieves than a first receiver talent.  What my experience in any sport has been has taught me that the overachievers use their desire to play hard to learn proper technique, and these guys end up being very consistent players from whom you know what you can expect.  So maybe he can be a #2 sometime soon. 

Apparently he's not very fast.  He's expected to develop into an OJ McDuffie posession type receiver. 

All the reports I've read is that the guy is never going to be a #1 receiver.  ...but that he's a hard working guy who makes plays.  I have seen enough potential guys...I like this pick because his ceiling isn't as high, maybe, but he's a producer already.

Hagan has potential...he could potentially drop 30 passes in a single season if you target him enough.

Yeah, I've read that he suffers from the "dropsies".

So let me get this straight...
He caught 77 passes last year for ASU,and 83 passes in 204...and he should have had over a hundered in both of those seasons...

I'm hoping that painting Dollar signs on the ball will help his concentration...

Does he tend to catch the ball with his hands,or with his body?

This is BS ... this guy was supposed to be a great receiver who catches everything thrown his way ... he's just not a speed burner. His one down game is the senior bowl and now he's a receiver that can't catch ... give me a break! If he caught that many balls in the past couple of years, I'm betting he didn't drop that many. I will see if my friends who are stationed out west came give me the scoop, they are all PAC-10 fans.

I saw a few ASU games last year on tv and from what i remember, I was pretty impressed with him. He makes clutch catches and will be a good number 3, maybe evern number 2. He should not be judged by a single event (bad senior bowl), but by his performance over time (college stats). I like the kid, hopefully he will pan out.

By the way, they were talking on the radio this morning about that wr out of aulburn that we got in the 7th round and he appears to have some potential as well. He is a burner.

He is a solid #2 or #3 receiver.. exactly what we need, assuming he can cut down on his drops

It actually surprised me to see Aromashodu's stats for last year ... I didn't watch as many Auburn games last year as in other years but this guys makes things happen. Auburn got off to a rocky start with a bad first game and some dismal offense early on, but I think he can help this team ... even if on special teams at first.

I am new to this site and send my greetings to all. I look at Hagen as a route and over the middle type receiver, with Chambers and Aromashodu stretching the defence by getting the corners out of the way. He caught alot of passes at ASU and if he starts to drop passes, he won't be with the team long. ;D

  He came from Miami Springs highschool and was rated the 8th. best receiver in the country comming out of highschool that year. He definitely has potential.

As a Pac-10 alum and fanatical follower of Pac-10 football, I think Hagan is an excellent receiver, but his dropsies at the Senior Bowl were just the most obvious of his dropsies. He did that a lot his senior season. He'd hear footsteps as the ball was coming in and it would just go right off his hands. I am hopeful that he can get over that, because if he can, Chambers and Hagan will be a very nice WR duo for Daunte to throw to. If Hagan doesn't get past it, then we have the second coming of Koren Robinson...minus the top end speed.
