That way, 4 different systems with 4 different game styles would be represented. As is, Punch Out doesn't have a chance to take down Mario 3.

In this case, an emulator is a program which acts like a different system. You can download a program that treats your computer like NES, and then you can download ROMs (which are games) to play on it.
