I read this earlier,and thought...You F'n prick....make up your mind...I'm losing more,and more respect for Favre....

I don't know, Tommy...if the alternative is two more years of Joe Tex's bi-weekly "Favre Sucks Balls and needs to be shot" threads, then I'm half inclined to tell him to "step into the light..."  ;)

This is one of those rare times when I don't agree with you or at least see your point B. "I" can't see how he can decide if this is it or if he should continue to play until he sees the outcome of his production.  If he calls it a farewell tour and then lights it up then what is he supposed to do?

I understand your point, CF, but with the supporting cast he has, I seriously doubt that he will light it up.  Marino in '99 all over again. 

I see it more from a team perspective here....
Let's say Brett Favre goes out there,and throws 25 Td passes 10 int's 3200 yrds,I could understand him saying I might consider coming back.The media,thefans,we want you back..blah,blah,blah...

We've sat here and listened to is Brett coming back this year?,untill 3 days before the draft.A week and a half later,He's thinking about 2007...right...just shut up,and cross that bridge when you come to it.

He's not a back up Qb,hanging on,bouncing team to team.Being a Star QB,He's either starting,or pouting...He's now become ME,and I.

I guess I  understood the wavering back and forth,if he said this it my final year.I'm making one last run,this is it,I'm done.I have a lot of respect for  athletes that do that.

The earth just fell off it's axis,I'm going to agree with Tommy.I know teams can swing fortunes in one year,but that team is probably 2 years away from being good,with good drafting,and a few good Free agents.

P.S. I feel the Packers are just as at fault,as Brett is...for being so damn wishy washy with him...

He is going to light it up this season.  He's only 23 INT's shy of the all-time record in career picks.

Wanna make a poop bet? I say he doesnt break the record before he retires.

I'm a witness.  Jtex, because you're constantly changing your avatar, you have to pick which one Frimp has to sport for a week if he loses the bet. 

If Jtex loses, he's gonna have to wear (OH NO!!!) a Dolphins avatar for a week. 

Is the bet "He won't throw 23 INT's this season" or "He won't throw 23 INT's in the rest of his career"?

If he doesn't get 23 it will be really close. Bank on that.

But will he do it this season or this season + next season?

I said the end of his career. I'm brave enough to put up. The odds are heavily in your favor, especially if he plays beyond the next season.

I'll take the bet.  If he does not throw 23 INT's I will wear a Dolphins avatar for 1 week.

If he does, you will wear a NY Giants avatar for 1 week.

So we may have to wait until NEXT season to see who is this poop bet winner...but that's OK :)

Since Brett Favre is a media hogging, attention grabbing, spotlight stealing piece of garbage, you probably have to wait until 5 years from now when Favre will FINALLY retire.

...but I am confident that he may just wrap it up this season and get it over with.

I admit that if he doesn't retire after this season, and he hasn't broken the record, I will more than likely lose the bet...unless he has a miracle season or gets hurt. But, poop bets are fun.  :)

P.S. I will committ murder on Brett Favre if I wake up tomorrow and I read on NFL.com - "Favre changes mind, retires from NFL".  >:(

This is my second one. I'm 1-0 in poop bets. The only thing that sucks is that we may have to wait at least one season...maybe two. Dave could ban either of us in that time.  ;D ;D

If Frimp wins-  Jtex has to live out his most horrible nightmare and sport a Dolphins avatar for a week.

If Jtex wins-  Frimp will be forced to parade around in an ugly blue Giants avatar for a week. 

This means that the majority of people here will be rooting for Favre to have a good season, then retire.  ;D

Or if he changes his mind and retires before the season starts...I'd hate him on so many more levels than I already do.
