Title: Miami Gets the Best in the RW Trade ( Surprising, I know ) Post by: Dphins4me on June 05, 2006, 11:23:38 pm Johnathan Sullivan was the players they acquired with the Conditional 1st Rd. pick they got from Miami because of RW 1800+ yards in '02. So at least we know they got little from the trade.
Quote PATS, SAINTS SWAP UNDERACHIEVERS The New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints closed the book on some turd of draft days past on Monday, swapping defensive tackle Johnathan Sullivan for receiver/kick returner Bethel Johnson. Sullivan was the sixth overall selection in 2003. Johnson was a second-rounder that same year. Sullivan has for years remaining on his rookie deal, with salaries of $689,083, $901,333, $1,243,583, and $1,455,829. Johnson is signed through 2007, at salaries of $500,000 and $546,000. The Saints sent the No. 17 and No. 18 overall picks to Arizona, and swapped spots in round two, for Sullivan, who at the time was hyped as the next Richard Seymour. Since then, Sullivan been a complete and total underachiever. He started in 13 games as a rookie and four through the first two months of the 2004 season. He then fell off the face of the earth for the rest of 2004. Johnson likewise has been a bust for the Pats, albeit at a much less pricey investment. Final Results from the Trade: Saints Get: Charles Grant, Keyuo Craver & Johnathan Sullivan Miami Gets: Ricky Williams & Randy McMicheal Players Miami Missed Out on Because of the Conditional Pick: George Foster, Jeff Faine, Rex Grossman, Willis McGahee, Dallas Clark, William Joseph, Kwame Harris, Larry Johnson, Nick Barnett Title: Re: Miami Gets the Best in the RW Trade ( Surprising, I know ) Post by: Phishfan on June 06, 2006, 12:28:41 pm I don't think McMichael had anything to do with the Saints trade. Did he?

Did he? Miami & NO also swapped 4th Rd. picks allowing Miami to move up in that Rd. That is where McMichaels & Craver come into play on this trade.
