Would have liked Campbell to stick around for another year, but Arizona is going to pay him $7 million, whereas Miami only had to pay him $2 million last year. He's not worth $7 million, but good for him in getting paid one more time.
One side effect of Campbell leaving is that we now have a net loss of compensatory free agents, meaning we're in line for a future fourth-round compensatory pick for Holland. https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/campbell-thoughts-on-contract-compensatory-pick-01jqv948ne61You have to wonder if the delay with Campbell making his decision has then delayed any possible decision to re-sign Ogbah? (or possibly even Wynn) If Campbell did play with us next year, we'd possibly be hoping for someone else out to walk out the door to keep that additional future pick.

Absolutely clownish summary, CF. To elaborate on exactly what "folding to Trump's tariff threats" entails: "Ontario Premier Doug Ford says they are willing to drop all tariffs against the U.S. if President Trump is willing to do the same." In short: the premier of a Canadian province has offered to drop all tariffs if the US does the same, i.e. ignore everything Trump has said about tariffs in the first place and return to the status quo ante. Not only is this NOT folding, but a premier of a province (which is the Canadian equivalent of a US state governor) has zero authority to enact such a deal! This is no different than Gavin Newsom offering to drop all tariffs on Canada if they do the same for the US.

My guess is that your angle 4 years from now will be, "You're still complaining about Trump winning an election to stay in office for another term?"

Today is World Autism Awareness Day.
Pappy actually picked up on the fact that I am on the spectrum. I was diagnosed freshman year of college after having an emotional meltdown in my dorm room.
I can attest to the daily struggles of people on the spectrum. Trying to fit in socially, trying to get people to see past your quirks, trying to succeed at jobs, trying to overcome people who judge you.
I have been lucky to have support teams and systems in place that have allowed me to find success and overcome these challenges.
I have learned personal coping mechanisms to help me, as well.
Oddly, they are releasing a sequel to The Accountant.
This movie starred Ben Affleck in the role of person on the spectrum.

I don't know. I think the scared straight method works pretty well.
In my youth we made tons of prank calls but 911 was not an option as it didn't start in Florida until the 90s. If it did, we probably would have done it too. Kids lack common sense and need a lot of direction.
Which is why smartphones are dangerous when placed in the hands of kids that young. If anything, get her a flip phone so she can call one of her parents in case she needs something.

You say all that, but you don't truly mean any of it. It's just words.
You are completely fine with Trump sending a violent mob to the Capitol to prevent his successor from being confirmed. You support Trump's pardons of the violent insurrectionists convicted by a jury of their peers in a court of law. You approve of the Supreme Court's ruling that Trump cannot be charged with a crime for any "official act" he takes.
All of your so-called morals are just BS; a facade that you like to present. But you'll happily discard them for power at the first opportunity. So when Trump is on the ballot in 2028, you'll find some flimsy excuse to vote for him, just like you did last year. You spent four years grandstanding about how you don't approve of Trump and won't vote for him, but when the rubber hit the road, you pulled the lever for Trump. Your words are meaningless.
You're still barking about a riot that lasted a couple of hours like 5 years ago? A riot that did much less damage than one of the burning of stores, businesses, and government buildings. this doesn't even include the current attacks on Tesla and their owners. hahaha Nothing like seeing liberals turn their backs on their own cause becasuse the didn't get their way.

This is why kids that young should not have smartphones. If I was her dad, when she said, "I'm not going to do anything like this again", I would've said, "Damn right you're not. Because when you get home, your ass is grounded until further notice and that phone is mine now" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVEhvS1BBFo

If you think Trump had anything to do with that mob, you're way off base. Trump actually condemned it over Twitter right before they banned him. Whoever organized it was not backed by Trump.
