Yes, Favre is better than any QB on our roster right now.

No, he should most definitely NOT be the QB for the Dolphins.

He's going to Tampa....then Jeff Garcia will want to be released or traded...then the Dolphins get Garcia....Then Garcia sucks out because he doesn't have the arm strength to through to Ginn deep....then comes in Henne who plays slightly better than Beck and McCown in the preseason to get the nod as 2nd string to come save the day al la Ben Roethlessburger....Dolphins make playoffs via wildcard....go to Super Bowl against Tampa and beats them in their own town....Its all very Elementary, ironic and poetic.   Cheesy

I'm sticking with Maine on this one...I see him in a Jets uniform this season.

I heard on ESPN on the way home tonight that Favre is close to accepting the Packers offer to stay retired and collect on merchandising with a lifetime position with the team.He gets 20 mil over 10 years plus merchandising royalties and a figurehead position with the Packers for life.Do it Brett, please get off my t.v.!

I don't like Favre, but it bothers me that he will be paid not to play.   The packers are saying - we don't want you, but we don't want anyone else to have you.  If other teams want him and the Packers don't, then he should traded or released.

At first I was hoping that Favre would just go away.  I think he's washed up, but I have to admit, if he comes back and plays for the Vikings or Bears, I'll watch that game.

Not the Jets. If the Jets were just a couple of pieces away from winning it all, I could see it, but I can't see him going to a team that is not going to be winning the SB within two seasons. If only Miami were that close I'd say come on down.  That being said, I can't think of any team that is very close that doesn't already have a stud QB( accept for Green Bay). So at the end of the day, I'll expect him to be competing with Rodgers for the starting QB job in Green Bay.

If he takes this offer, it will prove what some people have been saying all along, that he is a piece of shit prima donna, who doesnt really want to play but still want media time.

I can understand the guy wanting to play again.  But taking money NOT to play?   I'd be ashamed, especially after making such a mess of things.

I'm sure he's hardly starving.  Now, if he takes the money and puts it all into United Way?   That's a different story.   Smiley

How many years would he have to stay retired in order to get out from under the Packer organization?
