Yeah yeah we can't base anything off of preseason games, but just for the hell of it (barring major injuries to star players) who'll end up in the SB?

The prize: A pat on the back and a "good job!" after the game.

I'm going with:  Dallas (god that hurts to say) vs. New England

I think New England rolls.  A few regular season losses, having everything locked up early, and sailing through the playoffs.

I'm hoping for a dose of "SB Loser's Curse"...

The Bears lost in 2007 SB and went 7-9 the last year. Since the new structure was introduced, only the Seahawks have managed to turn a Super Bowl loss into a winning season (they went 9-7). Tje rest look were:

Eagles 6-10
Panthers 7-9
Raiders 4-12
Rams 7-9

I wouldn't bet on it, though. Sad

I think New England will be down this year, and by down I mean "not 16-0" Roll Eyes  Towards the end of last year, everyone had the secret recipe to beat the Patriots, and the Giants actually pulled it off (almost twice).  I don't know of any earth-shattering changes they made in the offseason (and why should they have to?).

I think the Pats will finish up 13-3 or about there but choke it off in the playoffs to the Colts.

In the NFC, I'm surprised anyone's picking the Eagles to do anything.  They'll be lucky if they make the playoffs.  I expect teams like Minnesota and Tampa Bay to surprise some people but I think its between the Cowboys and Seahawks for the NFC title.

I'm going to go with my official prediction:

Cowboys 31, Colts 27
