WOW!This has got to hurt the Mets playoff chances.Fox sports is reporting he needs elbow surgery and will miss the entire '09 season.

The Mets are bird shit anyway.  The choke job they pulled at the end of last season should've gotten Willie Randolph fired.  They kept him on and they sucked the first part of this season.  Only when they fired him in mid season did this team become competitive.  That's gonna bite them at the end of this season.

Without Wagner I almost hope they don't make the post season. The bullpen is absolutely horrible without him.
