Go Phins!!!!!

Hey all what a horrible game that was. I was just happy to be there either way. Win or lose I wasn't missing this game. I have been to all 3 Dolphins appearances in AZ and the first 2 were victories so I was hoping for more of the same. Let me start out by saying that I got a ton of comments on my TDMMC shirt. I wore my Ricky jersey while I was in my seat but while I was tailgating, walking to and from the game from the truck, walking on the concourse....I wore my TDMMC shirt loud and proud and it was a hit. I had quite a few miserable Phins fans tell me they were going to check out the site so maybe we can get a few new members from AZ on board. My camera kind of sucks and sitting behind the goalpost made it hard to get some shots especially when the net was up because it kept focusing on the damn net. Either way my seats are ten rows up dead center in the South Endzone. I took about 100 pictures so I will share a few for those who are interested.

Me and my buddy Brian kicking things off in the morning. Yeah I know shocking AZ with a coldie in his hand early in the morning. Shocked

Right after a short 3 song opener by Daughtry the Fins made their way onto the field.

Ricky and Chad during player introductions.

Heading to the sideline before kickoff.

Ricky and Ronnie

Cardinals intros.

Big ass flag that covered the entire field during the Anthem also sung by Daughtry

Bess getting ready to return a kick.

Pennington back for a pass.

Dolphins huddle when they shifted down to my side of the field in the 2nd.

Ricky taking the handoff. Ronnie never was in on my side of the field.

Our first points with the FG.

Henne into the game for the rooks first action.

A few beers and a 31-3 score got this reaction out of me!!!!!  Grin

Running back to the sidelines after our lone TD. I had a pic of Ronnie crossing the plane but some jackass standing in front of me was what the camera focused on so this is the best I could do.

Anyways all in all, even with the loss it was a blast. Being a Cards season ticket holder it was actually weird cheering against them in this game and all of the people I have been sitting around for the last few years were ribbing me pretty good about it too. Can't wait to see them again here in AZ I am guessing sometime in 2016!!!!! Sorry for the quality but I hope you enjoyed the pics. I have a ton more and a lot of individual player shots for my personal file.

Great pixs!

Does UPX even have a football team?  What's the story behind them getting a NFL stadium?  There was nothing better than baking in the sun at Sun Devil stadium.

The best pic that you took was the "opening kickoff" pic - you can see the delay between the live action and what was showing on the widescreen jumbotron.

I see a lot of Adrian Wilson jerseys in the stands...the general Cardinals fan base must be getting smarter. Grin

No UPX does not have a football team. They just paid top dollar for the naming rights to what was once Cardinals Stadium. I still wish Pink Taco would have won. I hated baking at Sun Devil Stadium....I personally enjoy the comforts of the a/c in the new digs.

Looks like the place was full, are the Cardinals finally getting some fan support out there?Seems like I remember watching them on t.v. and seeing about 12 fans in the whole place.Great pics, too.

They have sold out ever game since the new stadium was built. Just recently however I have noticed the Cards fan base is the vast majority of the crowd whereas it was never like that in the past. When I went to the Fins/Cards game in 1996 I walked into the Men's room at halftime and there 27 Dolphins jerseys in there and not one Cards. There was a decent Dolphin presence at this game but no comparison to what the Cards had or to what it was in 96. Could be we lost a shitload of the band waggon fans and it is just us diehards anymore. Most I talked to were massive die hard Fins fans like myself. It was nice to see for the home team.

GREAT pics, AZ.  I enjoyed them.  I want to see that stadium in person, it looks really nice.

Anytime you want to head this way Maine, you have a place to stay and I will get some tickets. It is a great Stadium there is no doubt.

I know shocking right lol!!!!!

Well I would have liked to have had a few dozen more but I had softball games last night as well.  Sad

I see a lot of Adrian Wilson jerseys in the stands...the general Cardinals fan base must be getting smarter. Grin

I usually wear my #11 when attending the Cards games but yes #24 and #81 and #11 are the clear fan choice when it comes to Cards merchandise.

Nice pics, but I like you better when you have been cans stuck to your head.

I should have included a few. I will see if I can dig the one up where I have a brand new 1 1/2 liter bottle of Grey Goose I got to stick a few weeks back.  Grin

Great Pics. Too bad you couldn't see a win. Looks like a really great stadium, and your seats are beautiful.
