Locking threads

So anytime anyone makes a flippant remark about locking a thread - that thread will be locked ... or is it only when someone in the "clique" is being called out? 

This is all it takes to get a thread locked?

Mods side with certain clicks here , people gang up and unless you want thread after thread getting locked up ground rules need to be set and FOLLOWED by everyone.

threads are locked at the moderators discretion .. threads made about locked threads regardless of content are automatically locked by the first person to see them as they're:

a - lame
b - against our moderation philosophy
c -lame

with regards to a general locking policy .. a good rule of thumb is that when a threat degrades into something that could just as easily be conducted via the PM system then it's locked.

any mod-bashing is locked automatically as well .. it's just not gonna fly
