I didn't see the hit, but apparently has hurt his shoulder, and Leftwich is playing.

Yup. Ben aggravated the separated shoulder "issue" he's been struggling with. Considering how Leftwich did, I can't help but wonder if the Steelers aren't considering letting Roethlisberger recuperate for a game or two - just give him a chance to heal up a bit.

It's tough, though, because the Steelers only have a game on the Ravens for the division title, with the Colts and Chargers next up in the schedule.

They really need to win their division to be sure of a playoff spot and their whole remaining schedule is tough, with the exception of the Browns and the Bengals, of course

  Leftwich played fairly well in the Washington game, I would let Big Ben recover and put Leftwich at the helm for a game or two.
