I live in DC area and the Skins fans are extremely down on Taylor.  They're talking about what a bust the trade was on their end.  Taylor has 1 sack and about 22 tackles.  Looks like the Tuna knows when to hold and when to fold...

They will always be remembered among the great Dolphins.

About Taylor and his 1 sack, isn't that what happens when you miss games due to an injury?

About missing 'em, it sucks, sure, but it's all good if we get better for it. Wannstache wasted their talent, but it was a treat watching 'em here.

I sure do miss them both.
I think they would make our defense better, especially Thomas and his leadership.

Who is Miami's defensive leader in 2008?

Joey Porter?

He's having a great year but I don't think being mouthy equates to leadership. Maybe by his play on the field you could say he leads through example?

Crowder?

He's having a pretty good year too but he's not really leading this defense thru words or actions.

Ray Lewis and Zach are the kind of players defenses will follow. Players learn from them in preseason and in practice and then by their field presence and actions on Sundays.

love zach, one of my favorite players of all time, but...

how ironic these guys wanted to be a part of a playoff contending team again, and turns out that team would be the dolphins  Grin

Miami made out BIGTIME. 2nd rounder for his dancing hollywood bound ass. I still miss Zack though. He only had a 1 year contact with Dallas. Now that Miami is on the upside maybe we can lure him back for some depth.  Undecided

I think he'd still start in Miami.

Depending on how that second round pick turns out, looks like Tuna played the Redskins for a sucker.  Kinda like when we gave a second rounder to the Vikings for Daunte.

Oh, we also have their sixth rounder in 2010.

I think Taylor has alot left to give..........he just wants to do other things with that pretty face. Redskins were hoping to make a run at the SB this year or next and took a gamble.  We finally made out.  Evil

its funny how when you get the right people making football decisions, more things start to go good for you than bad  Grin

there's always a certain amount of luck involved, but it is interesting how some folks seem to always have a little bit better luck than the rest of them.
