The Chiefs lead the overall series 12-11. Last time the Chiefs and Dolphins played was November 12, 2006 at Dolphin Stadium. The Dolphins won 13-10. The Chiefs are 6-2 vs Miami at Kansas City.

With a win over the Chiefs, the Dolphins:

-will be 5 or more games over .500 since 2001 (11-5)
-will have won 4 straight games since winning their first 4 in 2003
-will have won the first 3 games of December for the second time since 2005
-if they don't allow a touchdown, this will be the first time in franchise history gone 4 straight games without allowing a touchdown

Individual notes...
-This game will be Will Allen's 117th consecutive game played in.
-Akin Ayodele's next interception will be his third this season, matching Zach Thomas's 3 in 2003 which is the most ever by a Dolphins linebacker.
-Yeremiah Bell needs a half sack in order to set a Dolphins career record for a defensive back. He is curently tied with Liffort Hobely with 6.
-Davone Bess has 42 receptions. He needs one more to surpass Terrance Wilkins as the second most productive undrafted rookie free agent. The most productive was Wayne Chrebet with 66 in 1995. He also has a 10.8 yard average on punt returns. He has a chance to be the first Dolphin to average 10.0 or more since Wes Welker did it in 2004 with a season average of 10.8.
-Ronnie Brown has 23 career rushing touchdowns. He needs 2 more to tie Don Nottingham for 6th on the Dolphins all time chart. He only needs 173 more yards to become the third Dolphin to have multiple 1000 yard seasons, joining Ricky Williams and Larry Csonka.
-Vernon Carey will be playing in his 75th consecutive game, with his 58th start.
-Dan Carpenter has 19 field goals this season. 3 more ties the rookie record set by Fuad Reveiz in 1985.
-Ted Ginn Jr has caught a pass in 26 straight games...longest streak on the team.
-Chad Pennington with a 300 yard passing game will tie Bob Griese and Jay Fiedler at second on the all time list with 3 yard 300 games in a season. He needs 135 more passing yards to top his current season high of 3352, set in 2006 with the Jets. He needs 4 more touchdowns to make 100 career touchdowns. He has not thrown an interception in his last 80 attempts.
-Joey Porter needs one more sack to tie the single season record of 18.5 held by Jason Taylor and Bill Stanfill.
-Samson Satele starts his 31st game

And, you would be right.  Grin But, I had to type that stuff out because I couldn't figure out how to copy text on a pdf.

I printed everything out, and all the information is about 70 pages long...just for this game.

^^^ there is a button that looks like a weird capital I and the word select.  Click on that then highlight the text then ctrl-c.

I wonder why the dolphins don't let everyone have access to the media release.  The Pats one is available to all.

I like to check it out not as much for upcoming milestones as for the summary of milestones/records from the week before.

^^^

Thanks....I'll do that, as well as post the summary after this game and for the Jets game. Not sure why they don't have the press releases available for everyone. I'd imagine that Dave probably has access to the media site too.
