Apparently MSNBC and their source agency PFT (I know save the discussion on PFT for another thread) are reporting all the Jaguar games will be blacked out. I wonder if that means in the Orlando market as well?

I believe it's within a 75 mile radius of the stadium.  Now the question is, is there a Central Florida TV station that sits within 75 miles of Jacksonville (Daytona perhaps).  If that is the case, then all of Central Florida must black out Jags games.

Just found this out from CF on Phinatics.  If a Jags game is blacked out, Orlando will not see the game.  They are considered a local Jaguars market due to NFL TV boundaries.

According to CF, Orlando's Local 6 station must be "wetting their pants" at the thought of being able to show Dolphins games this year.  Every year they petition the NFL to do that and get turned down.

And therein lies the problem.  My condo complex's HOA will not allow satellite dishes, putting us at the mercy of Brighthouse Networks, which doesn't have NFL Network, let alone NFL Sunday Ticket.

The NFL needs to allow NFL Sunday Ticket to be sold by Dish Network and all major cable companies

Not legal.

The FCC declared that satellite reception was a "basic right" and that dishes less than about 40" could not be restricted. That result came in 1996 and although it was relaxed slightly in '99, there's still no way for 99.9% of all condo associations to ban dishes. They can require that the dish be placed in a specific location, provided you get at least as good reception there and that installation costs are similar (typically roof, as opposed to a balcony).

The only case where they can legally stop you from putting up a dish is if they provide the same service that you would have chosen anyway (and that the signal they provide is as good as the one you would have gotten from your dish). That's clearly not the case for you, though...

word - they can't prevent you from putting up a dish.  they can make it difficult, and even charge you fees to do it, but they can't prevent you.

Also, I believe its 50 mile radius, not 75...
