Bills CB McKelvin's crucial fumble leads to vandalism
Sep. 15, 2009
CBSSports.com wire reports

HAMBURG, N.Y. -- The front lawn of a home belonging to Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin was vandalized following Buffalo's season-opening loss to New England.

Hamburg police on Tuesday confirmed the home of a Bills player was vandalized, but declined to release details of their investigation after an obscenity and the score of Monday night's game -- a 25-24 loss to the Patriots -- were painted in white on the player's lawn in suburban Buffalo.

McKelvin fumbled a kickoff return with under two minutes to play and the Bills leading 24-19. Three plays later, New England's Tom Brady hit Benjamin Watson for the go-ahead touchdown as the Patriots overcome an 11-point deficit in the final 2:06.

Could be worse.  He could've been shot to death like Andres Escobar, the Colombian soccer player who made that own-goal in the 1994 World Cup.

This kind of shit disgusts me.  I hope they catch this guy and then make him watch the Bills lose in the Super Bowl over and over while he rots away in prison.

^Agreed.

Except I think that they should lock the guy in the same room WITH the player for 20 minutes and let whatever happens, happen.

I remember when someone killed Don Coryell's dogs.

I can't stand overreactive fans but I think most people share that sentiment. Unfortuantely the aholes might be the minority but they are also the most visual.

How do they even figure out where a bum special teams player from the Bills lives?

Besides, you gotta be pretty stupid to NOT realize that your team is the Buffalo freaking Bills, the biggest choke-team in NFL history. Did these vandals really think they were going to win?

I have to agree with you there.... but that's a perfect example of a contender vs a pretender

You haven't been watching NFL football for very long then.

Buffalo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, or the Lions will never win in the NFL. Period.
