His father, Buddy Ryan made a lot of enemies in the NFL and it looks like Rex is taking the same route.

Irony is that from what's reported, he's one of the nicest guys that you would ever want to meet.

But he's going about instilling toughness in his team the wrong way. He reminds me a lot of Jerry Glanville when he was coach of the Falcons. The good coaches don't do that. They prepare their teams to play hard.

The shame of it is that people like Scott and Pace don't know it's an act and have become comedic foils to whatever he says blindly. Last time I looked, Scott, who is supposed to be the savior of the defense was getting ran over by Ronnie Brown.

If the jets don't make the playoffs in two years, Rex will be gone and they will pick a quarterback friendly head coach to turn Sanchez into the next Brady.
