Guys to coincide with the NFL in London this weekend, the Varsity Football Team of Kent School, Kent, Conn, has come across to the UK to play against what is currently the only School in the UK which offers Football as part of the education package, as they're affiliated to the club I coach and play with, I just wanted to give it some love.

The game was today and Kent School walked away 27-6 victors, but the guys from the UK did well to score an unconverted TD, especially considering the programme only started last year.

The game actually made the Patriots website (sorry for posting a link to the Pats site but they covered it, and in the end the winner is Football in the UK Wink)

The game got national TV coverage here which is great news for the sport in this country. I was very impressed by the attitude from both sets of players, the atmosphere post game was immense.

That's very cool!! I'm sure both sets of kids will never forget the experience.

Being involved with youth soccer, we quite frequently deal with other countries. It's always a lot of fun whether they are traveling here or we are traveling there.  Sports is definitely a universal language!!

Any chance the turf at Wembley will be in decent condition this year?

Yeah it's been relaid a few times since the infamous Phins game, it was fine last year for Saints, Chargers, and the weather here is set to be dry, there's not much chance of rain.
