love 'em or hate 'em , they are the champs once again. nice to see jeter, pettite and rivera get one more. these guys are truly the class of baseball. you'll never see any showboating , or unnecessary antics out of these guys. just true professionals. even if you hate the yankees. you have to at least respect these 3 guys for the pure sportsmanship. more players should be like them. then maybe i could like the game again.... or sports in general, for that matter.

George not being there last night makes me very nervous about the man's health.  Say what you will about how he runs the team, he is a human being with real feelings and people that love him.  I hope George is well.

Being a Mets fan this was the worst World Series ever. I can't imagine two teams I like to see lose more.

Certified Yankee hater here, but they were the best team this season so hats off to them. How many days til pitchers and catchers report? I want to knock them off the top
