^^^ That crap is mental and not physical. I have been in Florida for 10 years now and haven't had any changes to how I perceive hot or cold at all.

^^^ some of it is actual physiological changes to the body.  some of it is physiological.   but even if most of it is mental so what?  if one team is okay or mildly bothered and the other team has players who are miserable it is still a factor.

Oh and about your personal experience...you move to Florida from where?  West Virginia or North Dakota?  While WV has "winter", a very bad WV winter by Nothern standards is a very mild winter.

Yes I moved from WV. And I have yet to see any conditions where football has been played that I haven't experienced myself so the climate difference between a WV winter and one in New England may have a gap for a years analysis but as far as the limited amount of time a Miami Dolphin team would be in town it is minimal.

The bottom line is that if you are a Championship caliber football team, it shouldn't matter whether its cold or hot. you bring your "A" game.

Dolphins fans have become wusses and want 4:15pm games to hide from the sun. What's happening to people these days? SOFT! For crying out loud, you live in South Florida!

When the Dolphins played in the OB in the 60's and 70's NO ONE complained about watching a game in 90 degree heat. We were happy that we had a great football team.  You had grandmas and grandpas which were 80 years old at the game screaming their lungs out.

Fans complain because of the heat. They don't want their cell phones to melt while they are talking stocks instead of watching the action. If you don't like the 1pm start time, don't go to the game. Watch it on DirecTV or something.

Who gives a &*&*that Miami has to go to Gillette Stadium for the finale. If the Dolphins are good as advertised, they should have the division tucked away by the 13th week. The heat at 1PM USE to be a factor but athletes are so well conditioned, the heat factor for a game doesn't carry the weight it once did. The same can be said for a team playing in cold weather.

The only way that Miami is going to be a championship team is to play well on the road and beat good teams on the road. Plain and simple. Win the games wherever they are played.
