It seems as if Crowder is the less talented version of Romanowski.

What makes you say that?  Crowder has a big mouth but I don't think there's been any evidence that he's a pill popper which is what Romo is famous for.  Or has there?

Agreed.  Romanowski was a dirty player in every sense of the word. 

Aside from his dirty play during games and his steroid use, he ended Marcus Williams career when he ripped his helmet off and smashed his eye socket.  Romanowski and Williams were teammates.  I think the indelible image I have of Romanowski is when he spit in JJ Stokes face on National TV.  You could see him sucking the snot out of his sinuses before he hocks the snot ball.
