The Miami Dolphins have placed CB Al Harris on the IR with a hamstring injury.  At 36 years old, it's unlikely that Harris will suit up again in the NFL and even more unlikely that he ever dresses for the Miami Dolphins, his hometown team

Good thing we cut Jason Allen for this bum.  Roll Eyes

Sigh... he actually played well the little he was in. Showed some folks on the team how to tackle, that's for sure. Hopefully, some of his aggression will rub off.

Hey Al Harris played very well for us. Even EXCELLENT at times.  He was a HUGE upgrade to our secondary in the middle of the year.  He really was. Our pass defense started out the year horribly and now is a strength on our team. Very sad to see him get hurt.

Sapp has raised his game of late and played well. Vonte is been very good all year. Sean Smith has improved to at least not hurt us on the field. Those 3 should be fine the rest of the way. I wanna get Smith more reps anyway to see if he is worth keeping around for next year. Don't think he is, but maybe he can play himself back into a role/job on the Fins for 2011.

Cutting Jason Allen was ADDITION by SUBTRACTION! The day he left our pass defense improved 150%. No question about it. The guy walked on the field and opposing QB's eyes lite up like a kid on christmas morning and teams just abused him and our defense all day long. Since he left our defense has been well above average and one of the leagues better defensive units.
