This year it seems easier, because The Holidays pretty much fall on the weekends....Even So, 85% of my office took the week off, there isn't a whole lot of work that can be done till the new year.Right after the new year, we're gonna be slammed mad house.....I called told the Front desk, if one of the bosses actually comes in,call me...otherwise...I'm not gonna bother coming in...Which hasn't happened...Today is the first day This week I've not gone in for something...

So how does your job handle this time? Are you Dead,Slammed? Are you even at work?

I'm a contractor, so if I don't show up I don't get paid, so here I am.  But as you can see, I spend quite a bit of time on these forums.

My proctoring job means lots of money over the break.

$14 an hour for Christmas Day and $14 an hour for New Years'.

I'm in tourist hell. People are idiots who do stupid crap and can't listen to directions. I can't wait for January 3rd for all these people to leave

My company headquarters is in Canada and they are shut down this week.  As a result, many of us US employees save our vacation days and use them now.

I am on vacation this week.  And loving every second.
