2011 NFC East Champions!

« on: January 04, 2011, 04:14:32 pm »

...yet another disappointing season for the Bengals is in store for 2011.

More mediocre to bad QB play
More average to mediocre defensive play
More wide-receiver / star-position player drama
More of the same crap.

I really wonder sometimes if the Brown Family gets a bonus just for doing stupid shit and bringing back bad players and coaches year after year.

They are just cheap. Don't want to spend money.

I have to wonder out loud if that's a job that literally nobody wants.

There are a few jobs like that in the NFL. Oakland, Arizona, Cincy, Miami, Carolina. People don't want to work for a cheap owner or a lunatic owner.

I think you could take "lunatic owner" out of there, or add Oakland, Dallas...and maybe the Redskins to the list. Wink

I think most coaches just want an owner who will provide them with the resources they need to build a winning team and then shut up, get the hell out of the way and leave the football to the football guys, rather than the suits.
