Don't know if anyone else saw it this morning on the ESPN pregame show but Schefter had a tidbit on Miami.

Schefter said Brad Childress and Donovan McNabb could be a package deal for Dolphins.
Schefter on ESPN this morning talked about Childress possibly going to Miami. Adam said that Josh McDaniel's decision will have ramifications across the league. If he signs with  the Rams, as expected, then that opens it up for Brad Childress to land in Miami. He also said that don't be shocked one bit that McNabb ends up with the Dolphins if Childress is named offensive coordinator.

i gotta believe that if it is chilly, the qb search doesn't stop just at mcnabb. i would imagine kolb would be a trade target as well.

I have always liked McNabb.  That said, I would NOT support the thought of him in Miami.

McNabb isn't the future.  We need to breed a guy with some talent.  McNabb is another re-tread a la Trent Green, Gus Frerotte, Joey Harrington, Daunte Culpepper...  Haven't we already lived this nightmare?

Childrss and McNabb? That's a joke! I can see Brett Farve coming out of retirement to play for Miami! We need to stop with these retread players and coaches.

The offensive coordinator that fits well into the Dolphins plans is not even in the NFL. He's coaching in the CFL and leading his team to championships and that's Marc Trestman.

Anyway, it doesn't matter who the OC is, Miami needs speed and talent on offense. I'm starting to think that Marshall is overrated and can only run a couple of routes which he can use his size but he's not a burner. Miami needs a serious vertical passing game with a running back that has speed.

Miami currently has nothing that an OC can work with.

Leave the both of them exactly the way they are.  I don't want that loser as my offensive coordinator and McNabb can't run a two minute drill without passing out or taking a nap.
