I have no clue which program it is.  They say it isn't Auburn or Oregon and the writer says it's going to be a "shocker" which would narrow it down to the programs with a relatively clean reputation.

I have no idea. But if I had to take a guess it would be Virginia Tech.

I mean if its Ohio St would anyone be shocked or would this be a big story? Or if it was any SEC school would anyone be shocked or thsi be a big story? Top 10 program knocks all the Big East schools out. Pac 10, Stanford would be shocking but they aren't known for being a Top 10 school year in and year out. USC isn't even news anymore when it comes to this suff. Big 12....Texas or Oklahoma...maybe. If its Boise St that would be friggin hilarious on so many levels!

My educated guess is VT.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Alabama on probation.

Im rooting for that. Watch Saban come off like a hypocrite after he was railing against sports agents last season. Oh god, I might say a prayer tonight that its Alabama this story is aboug

Even though I still like Saban, I would find enjoyment out of him getting busted.  His hubris is asking for it.

I have to admit...I got an evil little smile when I thought about Saban potentially getting busted by the NCAA.

I like this idea as well.  The only reason I don't think it's them is that the writer said that it's going to be a "shocker".  Alabama getting busted for recruiting violations would shock no one.

I'm hoping it's Ohio State, Alabama or Oklahoma.

There's a buzz that it might be Texas.  It would explain Muschamp's departure to Florida, and some other assistant coaches that have left.  I find it hard to believe, since Mack Brown has the reputation for running a clean program, and UT is such a draw, I don't think they have to cheat to get talent.  It would be a sad day in Austin if the Longhorns got hammered by the NCAA.  Even worse, with no UT to talk about, the local sports talk radio would talk Dallas Cowboys 24-7.

The only schools I would really hate to hear this about would be TCU & Boise St.

^^^ Yeah, that would be ammo in the clip for the pro-BCS advocates...

Has there been any new revelations here?

If not, I'm skeptical that there is anything behind this story.  My reasoning is that all the big media guys seems to know about this, and while ESPN might have enough journalistic integrity to not report the rumored schools unless they get collaborating evidence, I'm sure that many smaller media outlets would be screaming it out at the top of their lungs.
