Looks like Favre is not interested:

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6837873/brett-favre-not-interested-joining-miami-dolphins

Retired quarterback Brett Favre quashed any rumors he may be thinking of a return to the NFL on Friday.

Favre, who had been linked to the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, told the Miami Herald he isn't planning any more comebacks.

"I haven't heard anything, and I don't have any interest," Favre, 41, told the Herald when tracked down in Hattiesburg, Miss., on Friday.

"You're from Miami? Don't you have anything better to do?"

The Dolphins signed veteran quarterback Kevin O'Connell on Friday. The Dolphins' roster also includes Chad Henne, Matt Moore and rookie Pat Devlin.

Dolphins coach Tony Sparano fueled speculation Thursday when asked if he would "rule out any possibility of interest" in Favre.

"I can't rule anything out. OK? So, I mean, we don't rule anything out," Sparano said. "I don't know how you want me to answer that. That'll be all over the news now too, but I'm giving you the only answer I can give you."

An 11-time Pro Bowl selection, Favre retired in January after 20 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings.

I bet one of the stipulations on his punsihment for the sexting last year was that he retire at the end of the year.  He did get off light.

Agreed......Every fucking thread someone has to chime in about how much Henne sucks.....we get it you don't fucking like him......he is as of now our QB as a real fan of the Dolphins I am going to support him and hope for the best. He is not the worst QB we have had here and his is not the best but he is our only option right now.

Amen, brother, Amen.

here's to a successful season for Henne and for him to shut everyone up!

Go Phins!!!!!!

henne is already shutting the fans up.  he has turned the dolphins into an irrelevant team that nobody talks about.

Which is why I don't want him as a Dolphin.  Knowing him, he'll text a picture of his package to Jennifer Lopez/Gloria Estefan and draw the ire of Marc Anthony/Emilio Estefan in the process.

I've mentioned how well he has done in practice in another thread...I know...practice...we talking about PRACTICE? and blah and blah....anyways, let me ask you all a question...

What are Henne's strengths?  Short and intermediate passes.  Well, our new OC is running a west coast type offense that specializes in...wait for it....short and intermediate passes.

What are Henne's weaknesses?  Throwing the deep ball and making bad decisions late in games.  From what I've heard, Henne has been hitting Gates and Hartline on deep throws on more than just occasion.  So that just leaves decision making.  This is the only factor we can't predict until we start playing the season.  We can make a guess due to his history, but won't know until the season is under way.

So to recap, we have a system in place that plays to Henne's strengths and he has improved his deep ball at least in practice.  The only X factor going into this season is his decision making, which I'll admit is huge and the most important factor.  I think he is going to be good this year, but for someone to say he is going to be bad has just as much weight.  We have to wait and see, and while I'm waiting and seeing, I'm going to support our QB and not  fall into "The Sky is Falling" bullshit that a lot of fans are spewing.
