Since we already know Henne is one of the worst QBs in the league, I'm willing to try almost anybody else.  Which means, I'd rather have Favre, Delhomme, a retired Bulger, Whistler's Mother, anyone.

Palmer would be a pipe dream, but he may be unattainable because of the Bengals' owner's stupidity.

I'm going to try some consistency.

I said I didn't want to give up picks for a replacement QB, and I meant it.  There is no good QB on the market; if someone had suggested trading picks for Kyle Orton (the warm body in the Jay Cutler deal) two years ago, I would have fallen down laughing.

Kyle Orton may be better than Henne, but he's not good.  He's another Jay Fiedler, but without the winning (check his record).  So a trade for him will, at best, accomplish a one-and-done playoff run, along with a crappy pick next year.  No thanks.

I'm tired of the back-and-forth.  The Trifecta chose Henne; they have surrounded him with their pieces.  Fine.  Either Henne wins this year, or he and the front office are out on their asses and we get Cowher, along with a good pick.

Sadly, Jay Fiedler was a much better quarterback than Henne.  It's looks like he'll be given another chance so maybe he could prove me wrong.  But I don't think he will.
