^ I equally like this reply. Let's break this down by dividing and conquering:

Sorry ass team?
Yes, a "sorry ass" team (as in, their asses are sorry).

The Giants and Dolphins have a shot at ending up with the same record..a long way from your - 0 16 prediction.

Didn't the Ginas just lose to the Redskins?
Yes - the same "Ginas" that beat the "LOLphins".

touche

The same team Miami wiped the floor with a few weeks ago?
I wouldn't consider that game "wiping the floor" - it was a victory but let's not get carried away here.

Miami Held them without a touchdown, which is something the Giants "amazing" defesne couldn't do.

And your precious New Jersey team barely escaped the game with Miami.
A win is a win is a win.

touche again

The Giants are more of a joke than the Dolphins are.
I will definitely disagree with this on many levels. No losing record since 2004, a few division titles, playoffs appearances and a little thing called a Super Bowl title along the way, all while drafting some very good players in the last few seasons, like Hakeem Nicks and Jason Pierre-Paul.

you take the lead

Every year there's hype around this shitty organization.  Why?
Not this year - check out the thread in Around the NFL back in September - only I had Giants-hope. Everyone else penciled the Eagles into the Super Bowl.

still didn't answer my question.  But again, I live in the tri-state area, so every year I have to hear how the Giants are the front runners in the NFC East

Because they stole a Super Bowl victory from the Patriots?
If by "stole" you mean "wiped the floor" with them, then yes, they stole a victory. Would you rather have the Giants lose so that the Patriots could have gone 19-0? (Hmmmm....)

At the time, I was a huge Giants fan for that Super Bowl.  However, as the years go by, I start to believe more and more that Miami is cursed by the 72 season.  In other words, Miami won't have a chance until another team goes undefeated.  And by "stole" I mean that Eli was a split second away from Mike Carey blowing the whistle and ruling him down at the 45 yard line.  Thus the Tyree catch would've never happened, It would've been 4th and 15 or so, and probably wouldn't have picked up the first down, etc, etc

..still milking off that success?
Yes - it feels good to have won a Super Bowl sometime in the last 40 years.

I'm sure it does, but it just seems like every NY fan is bitter that the media doesn't talk about the Giants winning the Super Bowl, as much as they talk about the Patriots losing that Super Bowl.  But then again, most NY fans are attention whores anyways.

Please, quit the double standard you're creating by saying you're sick of Miami's "Once proud franchise"...it's the same exact thing for a Giants fans to remind us they won a Super Bowl by the skin of their teeth 5 years ago when their team hasn't done shit since then.
Actually, it's not - the Giants are still a proud franchise with a Super Bowl MVP QB on the roster.

Replace "proud" with "lucky" and I'll agree with you.  Scott Norwood?

The Giants are one of the most overrated teams in the NFL today and they're nothing more than scumbag "me" players on the roster.
I didn't see Reggie Bush or Brandon Marshall on the Giants roster...

Marshall?  yea..Bush?  not so much.  Tuck, Osi, Rolle, and Jacobs just to name a few are the ones I was talking about.

Enjoy ANOTHER December Debacle Tex.
Misery loves company.

I'll see you in 2 weeks when we're sharing a 7 - 9 record

The giants have given up 38 more points than they have scored this year.  Is that the sign of a good team?  The dolphins have scored 17 more points than they have allowed.
